The library is a meeting place for like-minded people!

Every year 1 in June we celebrate the holiday of the little citizens of our country - International Children's Day. At the same time, it is a holiday for those, who is always with the children, who takes care of them and helps them stand firm.

It was on this day that our library was visited by guests - people, who have chosen the profession of caring for the youngest citizens and emphasize the attention to children's rights and the formation of a harmonious personality. This is the chief and chief specialist services for children of Rakhiv City Council Inna Savlyak and Galina Shtodler, senior inspector juvenile prevention Maryna Yakovetska, inspector of prevention Denis Mykulyak and a district officer police Viktor Bohdan.

The library director met the guests Eva Didyk, which congratulated everyone on the holiday and the beginning of the happiest season for children – in summer, and overgrown with the book collection.

Librarian of the service department Love Lazoryak conducted a tour for them and presented a multimedia presentation to those present, which acquainted them with the work of the library, arranged book exhibitions, measures, which are held here and services, which are provided.

Maria Yavorenko told about the work of the reading room, about periodicals, which we subscribe to for our young readers and introduced children to clubs of interest, who operate here and invited to join their work.

Employees of the service for children Inna Savlyak and Galina Shtodler informed the participants of the event about the powers of the children's service and told about the rights and responsibilities of children, about, that every child has the right to be protected, has the right to full leisure and recreation, to develop and learn for a better future.

Preventive police officers told about their working days, shared interesting stories from the life of the police and answered questions from children.

Then the children drew pictures about it, how they see our country after the war.

And of course, as without sweets! Everyone who came to the holiday received sweets and gifts: coloring pages, soap bubbles, flags, balloons, stickers and other cute little things for kids)

It was very fun and interesting. There was an atmosphere of good mood throughout the event. We sincerely hope so, that the child received a charge of cheerfulness, positive energy, and got a lot of new ones, interesting information. This is how a children's holiday should be.

But the main character of the event, there was a child's smile. From a simple smile, especially children's, the world is getting better, lighter, happier, and life is more beautiful!
