WHAT ARE THE RESULTS OF THE STA AFFECTING?? The results of the state final attestation are presented in the certificate of basic secondary education in a separate column. The results of the STA are not taken into account when issuing annual estimates. However, for those students, who continue their studies in high school, assessment with the STA will be crucial. Students, who will pass exams for high scores, will study in a "strong" class, and students, who failed to pass items on "Good" and "Excellent", will graduate from another class. That is why class teachers advise all students to regularly prepare for the STA, to go to the 10th grade in full force, without breaking the team. If parents see, that the child has difficulty understanding the subject, which needs to be folded, then tutoring will not be superfluous. It should also be understood, that the STA – it is a kind of litmus test, which indicates the desire of the student to learn further and gain deeper knowledge. If during 9 class student performance has declined sharply, parents do not observe in the child responsibility and desire to go further, then you should consider the option of entering the lyceum. Perhaps, the working specialty will seriously interest the teenager and will open for him new horizons and opportunities.

WHEN STUDENTS DO NOT PASS THE EXAMS? In some situations, you can ask the school principal to hold the STA for the student on other dates or to release the student from the STA.. To do this, the student's parents or other legal representatives must write to the head of the school and attach documents to confirm.

List of reasons, on the basis of which the student can request the postponement of the dates of the STA: patients during the certification; did not show up for certification for good reason (death of family members or close relatives, emergencies of natural and man-made origin, other circumstances, which objectively make it impossible for the student to be present at the attestation); temporarily received general secondary education abroad and returned to Ukraine after certification; was called (mobilized) for military service; goes to a permanent place of residence abroad. The terms of attestation of such applicants in an educational institution are determined by the order of the head of the educational institution.

The list of reasons on the basis of which the student can apply for exemption from the STA is specified in the instructions: 1. Students, who have health problems. To the students, who in the current or previous calendar year received a certificate of international language exam in a foreign language level A-2 and higher (classes, who study a foreign language at the standard or academic level) or level B-1 and higher (for classes with in-depth study of foreign languages), it is possible not to make STA on a foreign language.
