Today in the Department of Education, culture, of youth and sports of the Rakhiv city council, a working meeting was held with the participation of the first deputy mayor Ivan MOLDAVCHUK, head of the education department, culture, of youth and sports Nataliya VOROKHTA, Lyubov SERATOR, Head of the Department of State Supervision of Compliance with Sanitary Legislation of the Rakhiv District Department of the Main Department of the State Production and Consumer Service in Zakarpattia Oblast, head of the department of housing and communal services, property and civil protection of Vasyl STADLER, Ivan KOZURAK, head of the department of architecture and urban planning, village heads of the Rakhiv city territorial community and directors of general secondary and primary education institutions.
The main topic of the meeting was providing educational institutions with high-quality and safe drinking water as one of the key components of creating a safe educational environment. The participants of the meeting discussed in detail the procedure for issuing and approving sanitary passports of local water supply sources, the need for timely laboratory testing of water, as well as compliance with the requirements of sanitary legislation regarding the operation of water supply systems.
It was emphasized during the discussion, that regular monitoring of the quality of drinking water is extremely important for the health of children and employees of educational institutions. Water is used not only for drinking purposes, and for cooking, washing kitchen and tableware, observance of personal hygiene of students and employees, particularly hand washing, and also to ensure the proper sanitary condition of the premises. That is why conducting laboratory analyzes makes it possible to timely detect possible deviations from established norms and take the necessary measures to eliminate potential risks.
Special attention was paid to the responsibility of balance-keepers and heads of educational institutions for the proper technical condition of water intake structures, compliance with the requirements for the maintenance of sanitary zones and timely updating of the necessary documentation.
The meeting also discussed the issue of organizing hot meals for students and ensuring that all children receive high-quality and safe food. Particular attention is paid to compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements in both institutions, where food blocks operate, and in those, where students' meals are organized in classrooms.
It was emphasized, that high-quality drinking water is a necessary condition for ensuring safe nutrition, compliance with the rules of personal hygiene and proper sanitary conditions of the premises. Particular attention was paid to the need to arrange places for hygienic treatment of hands before eating, providing students with means for washing and disinfecting hands, as well as creating appropriate conditions for safe food consumption in accordance with the requirements of current sanitary legislation.
Following the results of the meeting, further measures were determined, aimed at ensuring proper control over the quality of drinking water, fulfilling the requirements of sanitary legislation and creating safe, comfortable and healthy conditions of stay of children in educational institutions of the Rakhiv city territorial community.
