Library outside the walls
Every year in September, we visit the schools of the city: we introduce the services to the children, provided by the library, we remind the "debtors", about returning books to the library, we answer the questions, that interest children, we promote the library and reading in particular.
And this year, we visited the city's schools and conducted the "Librarian - Reader" questionnaire.. The children responded with joy and willingly answered questions. Subsequently, we will analyze the children's answers and try to further improve the work of the library.
Our meetings in schools attract new readers to the library and establish partnerships with teachers.
We believe, that every meeting in schools opens new doors to the world of books for children and makes their path to knowledge even more interesting.

As part of the Children's Reading Week, the children's library in the city of Rahova hosted the event "A child reads - Ukraine wins", which united young book lovers around the world of literature. 
The head of the library greeted the guests and reminded them, that reading is not only an exciting process, but also a powerful tool for development, knowledge of the world and preservation of our cultural heritage. The children learned interesting facts about the benefits of reading, that books train the memory, develop thinking, improve concentration and even help relieve stress. Reading is a real superpower!
To consolidate your knowledge, participants of the event solved a thematic crossword puzzle, in which interesting facts about the library and books were encrypted.
The child showed his creativity, coloring patriotic pictures “Paint Ukraine”. Everyone was able to convey in colors the love for their native country and pride for its culture.
Further, with the children, they held the Workshop "Make a bookmark in the book for order". Children made their own bookmarks - useful accessories, which will help them not lose their favorite pages and always return to reading.
The participants of the event were given thanks for their participation in the Reading Week, and girls, who the day before took part in the National Reading Marathon "Children of Ukraine read books, that inspire" announced by the National Library of Ukraine for children before this event – Certificates. Reading - we win! This event reminded us all, that knowledge, obtained from books, make us stronger, wiser and more confident in the future. After all, a reading nation is an invincible nation! Today the village library was visited by pupils of the 1st and 2nd grade extended day group and teacher Maria Ivanivna Prodanyuk. A variety of interesting and bright books awaited them here.
A library lesson was held for students ”Getting to know the library”, where they got to know the rules of using the library and the book. The librarian emphasized, if children want to be friends with a book, it is necessary to treat it carefully, protect her and she will tell a lot of interesting things.
Also, a tour of the library shelves was held for new users .
Children were keenly interested in books, got to know the interesting characters of Ukrainian folk tales. The schoolchildren liked the game the most ”Remember the fairy-tale hero” and a children's corner.

Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery and a violation of human rights, from which men suffer, women and children.
In order to increase the level of awareness of students 1-B, 4-B, 7-B, 5-B, 8-A, 8-B classes held a training session "Trafficking in people - a modern manifestation of slavery", hour communication “Trafficking in human beings”, “Recognize danger in time”, “Man – not a product.Stop! Human trafficking!”, during which students completed the exercise “Reasons for human trafficking”, created “Tree of expectations”, solved the crossword, drew a house, which were constituent parts:

Trafficking in human beings – one of the most urgent problems of our time. Every year, millions of people around the world become victims of modern forms of slavery. In addition to economic reasons, which force them to look for work abroad or in different regions of their country, important factors, that promote human trafficking, there is a lack of reliable information about possible employment, ignorance of their rights.

International Day of Peace and Day of Peace in Ukraine
21 September, Ukrainians, together with the civilized world, celebrate the International Day of Peace and the Day of Peace in Ukraine. The latter was established in accordance with the Presidential Decree dated 5 February 2002 year.
Librarians of the Rakhiv public library held a street action “And Ukraine will be, and we will be in Ukraine!” with calls for PEACE! Pupils of ZZSO I-III grades No. 1 with psychologist Valentina Nosa took part in the action, employees of the cultural center and residents of the city.

Presentation of books by Dmytro and Svitlana Toder at the Rakhiv Children's Library
4 In July, an incredible event took place in the Rakhiv Children's Library - meeting with storytellers Dmytro and Svitlana Toder, who visited us, to present their books. The event gathered dozens of children and their parents, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Dmytro originally from Rakhiv Oblast, and now, Together with his wife, they live in Uzhhorod and write fairy tales. The couple came to Rakhov, to acquaint the young people of Rakhiv with his work, they presented two books from the "Charotsvit" series to children and their parents, as well as "Fairy-tale Vespers", "Winter cottages", "Spring Bustle" and "Wonder of Winter Leaves".
Spouse books Toder - a real treasure for lovers of books and fairy tales! Bright illustrations, fabulous labyrinths and fascinating stories of modern Ukrainian writers, full of love and care for nature and living creatures give readers positive emotions. On the pages, children are waiting for the exciting adventures of the heroes, which will tell about friendship, dreams and justice.
The meeting began with a welcome speech by the head of the library, which emphasized the importance of reading and developing imagination in children.
The writers told the guests about themselves, his work and books, the process of their creation and sources of inspiration, read several fairy tales from their collections, made up riddles, held a movement with the children and answered questions, which those present asked. It was exciting to hear, how ordinary things from everyday life can turn into incredible fairy-tale adventures.
One of the most interesting moments of the meeting is the live reading of excerpts from books. Children listened with their mouths open, captivated by every word and vivid images.
This meeting left unforgettable impressions in the hearts of children and their parents. She not only contributed to the development of love for reading, but also showed, that fairy tales can be not only on the pages of books, but also in our lives.
We express our sincere gratitude to the writers-storytellers for their work and desire to share their creativity with the younger generation.
At the end of the event, the couple presented us with four cool books of their authorship and signed them for our users.

Tomorrow is our professional holiday - All-Ukrainian Library Day!
The day before, we invited the heads of three groups of the Rakhiv TsNTDUT Lyschuk Maryna Ivanivna to us ("Fine Art Studio") and Rusnak Nadia Pavlovna ("Making souvenirs" and "Creative handicrafts") together with his pupils and our readers, to jointly, together, to communicate, to read, to rest and try to do something new!
The head of the library, Eva Didyk, opened the event and told about the history of the Library Day celebration and congratulated the young readers on the holiday, book and library lovers.
Librarian Lyubov Lazoryak held a quiz with the guests "Book. Library. Reader" and riddle contest.
Children of two age groups gathered in the library: the smaller ones made books as gifts for librarians, in which they wrote their wishes and attached them to the stand "I and my library", on which the librarians created a photo book of library life, and the older ones created, painted, – showed their vision of the library and books.
The result was wonderful gifts for us, which will remain not only in our walls, and hearts!

8-September th on the International Day of Writing (literacy) we were visited by students of the 10th grade of Rakhivska ZZSO I-III degrees No. 1 with the head, teacher of Ukrainian language and literature Toder Tetyana Dmytrivna, in the course of which students were introduced to reference publications, which are in the library fund.

The regional stage of the All-Ukrainian competition "Leader of Reading" was recently held
The regional stage of the VI All-Ukrainian competition "Leader of Reading" was recently held. Took part in it 16 Lists, among whom was our reader - the winner of the 1st round, Sofiyka Pukman.
Contestants presented their projects and video presentations in Uzhgorod.
As part of the holiday, a creative meeting with a famous Transcarpathian poetess took place, a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, Lydia Povh.
The competition jury took a serious approach to determining the winner, noted the abilities and gifts of each of the contestants. And although our reader did not become the leader of reading at the regional stage, but she, like other contestants, received many positive emotions, met new people, interesting people and got a lot of positives from getting to know the regional center.
For active participation in the Competition, all participants received diplomas and gifts with the support of the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and TM Transcarpathian gingerbread.

Such words flowed today 1 October on the Day of Defender of Ukraine for those, who maintains the defense on the front of Ukraine. After all,only thanks to the military,doctors and volunteers, Ukraine maintains its independence.
Also,we cannot and have no right not to remember those on this day, who gave his most precious treasure—his life—for us. All those present at the holiday remembered the fallen Heroes in their prayers, who gave their young lives for us.
Priests held a memorial service near the Obelisk of Glory and at the grave of a fellow villager - Shemot Vasyl.
We want peace for our native Ukraine. But today we are talking about that, that hurts every Ukrainian person who cares. Hurts for mom, who buries her only son, aches for the young man, who became a helpless invalid at the age of twenty, hurts for Ukraine, which for more than one century has been paying for unknown sins with the blood of its people.
Let the pure blue of the Ukrainian sky not tremble from the explosions of "Hradiv"! Let women's hearts not tremble, expecting terrible news for his men, sons there or about them – from there. May peace and tranquility prevail in our long-suffering Ukraine. Let every defender return home alive.

On the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, which we celebrate this year 1 October, cultural workers prepared a festive meeting "Immortals, like fire, calm, like granite" with defenders of TRO p. Business.They started with the national anthem of Ukraine.A minute of silence was observed in memory of all the fallen heroes of our state and defenders of fellow villagers: Vargi E., Popadiča V., Grijaka V., who gave the most valuable- his life for Ukraine.
