A love festival was held in the children's library, joy and laughter

Though, that February is a cold and frosty month, we still love him for that, that we celebrate a bright and magical holiday in it - Valentine's Day. It is on this holiday that the library turns into a space, where the atmosphere of love rages!

The manager of the institution, Eva Didyk, met the guests of the library with a story about that, that love is a bright and good feeling. It can be to the Motherland, to his hometown, to mother, to a girl or a boy, and, Of course, to the book, to reading. She told about that, which turns out to be, Saint Valentine "lives" in Ukraine. His relics have been preserved in the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in the city of Sambir in the Lviv Region for more than two centuries. Nowadays, dozens of young people gather here for the festive service, to ask the Saint for the secret.

Lyubov Lazoryak - the librarian of the service department told the children about the origin of the holiday and that, that so many lovers, as there is nowhere in the library. We know, that they live on the pages of books, which we enjoy reading, learning about their incredible love stories. She presented the prepared book exhibition "Incredible Love Stories" to visitors.

On this day, we express our feelings with the so-called "valentine", card in the form of a heart, which is an invariable attribute of this romantic holiday. Olesya Martysh, librarian of the reading room, held a master class with the children, on which the little one enthusiastically carved, drew, glued and made "valentines".

Next, the manager invited the children to confess their love for the library — to set up a stand, which the librarians prepared earlier (on red hearts, write why they love and visit the library and stick them on the stand "Confess your love to the library").

An unexpected surprise for the children were sweet gifts from our regular user-gentleman Sashko Tomashuk - everyone present received a sweet gift and a Valentine card from him!)

Another gift for the holiday was an original bright thematic photo zone, which was prepared for children by the librarian of the reading room. The users of the library looked at it with enthusiasm and took pictures next to it as a memory)

In turn, the library welcomed visitors with sweet and bright gifts, creating a good mood and a pleasant memory. It is on this most romantic day of the year, When, it seems, love is in the air, there was a rendezvous with the book.
