A well-known historian of the Rakhiv region has an ANNIVERSARY!

Tomorrow, 8-October is fulfilled 80 years since the birthday, known teacher, historian, local historian Mykola Ivanovich Tkach!

The author of many historical studies of our region, which were published on the pages of the district newspaper "Zorya Rakhivshchyna" and in the regional educational magazine "Hutsulska Shkola".

Many research works are still published on the Rakhiv Public Library blog https://rakhivcrb.blogspot.com/ in the author's columns "To the history of Rakhiv region with historian Mykola Tkach" and "They glorified their region", and also on the blog of the Dilovetsk village library, which can be useful to everyone who wants to explore the history of our picturesque region from ancient times to the present.

Analytical articles on the history of the Carpathian region, in particular, Rakhiv region, of which he has more than 100, were also published in the media "Noviny Zakarpattia", "Teacher's Word", "Hutsul calendar", "Grajda" (Lviv), "News" (Kiev), the magazine "Ukrainoznavstvo" of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences and a number of one-off publications.

Wrote and published the manuals "History of Hutsul Region" and "Village in the Center of Europe", co-author of the book "300 names of Rakhiv region". He is one of the initiators of the organization of the All-Ukrainian society "Hutsul region".

Awarded the medal "For Valiant Work", honorary award of the Transcarpathian Regional Council "For the development of the region", award of the All-Ukrainian Society "Hutsulshchyna", "Honored Hutsul", "Excellence of national education of the Ukrainian SSR".
