At the ceremony of laying flowers to the monument to a prominent figure of the Ukrainian state, fighter for freedom and independence of Ukraine Taras Shevchenko, representatives of all community institutions took part.

During the event, Candidate of Historical Sciences Peter Ferenc outlined the most important milestones in the history of the state and named significant figures, that forever vkarbuvalysya a vital heritage of the Ukrainian nation.
