3 February 2023 In 2018, the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve held the environmental campaign "Carpathian Snowman", the purpose of which is to draw the attention of students to the problems of global climate change.

The action was held in two stages. The theoretical stage includes lectures and discussions on the topic of climate change and is held in classrooms. Winter games and entertainment are organized to consolidate theoretical knowledge, during which the problems of climate change are re-emphasized to children. This stage takes place in the open air, that's why the action was held at the city stadium "Karpaty".

Учасниками акції були школярі закладів загальної середньої освіти І-ІІІ ступенів №1, №2, №3 Рахівської територіальної громади.
