On the occasion of the Day of the National Assembly of Ukraine and the 77th anniversary of the formation of Zakarpattia Oblast as part of Ukraine, with the aim of strengthening the unity of the people around the idea of ​​a cathedral Ukrainian state, education of patriotism and spirituality of the Ukrainian people, a ceremonial laying of flowers at monuments to outstanding figures of the Ukrainian state took place, fighters for freedom and independence of Ukraine.

Today, 20 January, a rally was held in the city of Rakhiv on this occasion. The convoy moved from the Rakhiv District State Administration to Taras Shevchenko Park, where a rally was held and flowers were laid at the Kobzar monument.

Everyone gathered on this day, who is firmly convinced, that we are one people, and unity and independence are the key to the successful development of Ukrainian statehood.
