Our ancestors left us a song and a fairy tale, music and legends, humor and dancing, their ancient rites and customs, and we, in turn, actively revive and enrich ancient traditions.
Yesterday's cultural and artistic event "Living Heritage", which took place in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life (m. Uzhgorod) just confirmed it again, because the main goal of the action was to acquaint visitors with elements of intangible cultural heritage!

Троїсті музики народного аматорського оркестру гуцульських народних інструментів (manager Ivan MYSYNCHUK) guests were welcomed to the sounds of trembita and Hutsul melodies. Prokip IGNATYUK prepared a traditional Hutsul dish – drink, which was remembered by all tasters of the action. Well, of course, the Hutsuls could not fail to introduce Bryndza, which glorifies one of the ancient crafts – sheep farming.
All visitors were also impressed by the exhibition of folk craftsmen of the community, which was supplemented with craft products of their own production by Vasyl NEBYLA and Vita TOMASHUK, which presented products made by her grandfather – Mykola Tomashuk.
