The embroidered shirt is not only an ancient part of the wardrobe of our people, which was passed on to descendants and served as a talisman for its owner. Today, as before, embroidered shirt is an important thing for every Ukrainian. Wearing his embroidered shirt, we show not only its beauty and uniqueness, but we also testify to our unity and belonging to the glorious Ukrainian cultural tradition!

Every year on the third Thursday of May Ukrainians celebrate the Day of Embroidery. Traditionally, on this day, everyone comes to work or study in one of the elements of Ukrainian costume - in an embroidered shirt. Employees of the Department of Education, culture, Youth and Sports of Rakhiv City Council joined the celebration of the Day of Embroidery. It symbolizes the connection between generations, awakens high patriotic feelings in the heart of every Ukrainian.
